In 2014 Phil Schrupp began planting the roots for SOTA Personal Training on a mission to transform people's lives, get out of pain, and change the way they think about sustainable fitness and nutrition forever.
Just a few years before opening SOTA, Phil was struck by a drunk driver, resulting in a fractured spine and several torn shoulder ligaments. After countless physical therapy appointments with unresolved pain, he was eventually told he would have to learn to manage life without resolve.
Only a few weeks after being introduced to strength training, his aches and pains started to disappear, and he was finally able to start living life on his terms again.
He started SOTA in 2017 and has assembled a rockstar team of coaches to motivate, support, and lead our community to success under the same core values.
Phil is a dedicated husband and father of two young daughters. He has shaped the SOTA Personal Training system and processes to help busy parents just like him live a stronger, healthier, more active lifestyle… even with a crazy schedule.
