PERSONAL TRAINER

BACKGROUND

Growing up, I was never an athletic kid. I had a little bit of weight lifting experience in high school, but never took it too seriously. I didn’t really know what I wanted to do after high school so I spent the year working full time. During the year, I put on a considerable amount of weight and knew I had to make a change. Months later after training, I noticed a remarkable amount of changes. I visited my high school prom because I knew some people who were a part of it and was showered with compliments from peers. Ever since then, I’ve spent so much of my time learning more and more. I originally went to college to do sports writing. After a dilemma soon after graduating college, I decided to change my career path and get my certification for personal training. I truly believe this was the right route for me in my life.

VISION

My vision is to create an enjoyable experience to all people. Whether you’re nervous about working out or lack motivation, I want to be the driving force and highlight that gets you in the door. I also strive to be a human role model by showing you not to sweat about the little things that happen in life. Life is meant to be enjoyable and we can’t let one little mistake we make in our fitness journey kick us down. If I’m craving a pizza, I’m simply going to get a pizza. Afterwards, I will strategically implement meals so I get right back on track with no worry of blowing my diet. Life is too short to stress about the little things.

EXPERIENCE

I have been weightlifting since 2016 after my revelation to get on track to a healthier lifestyle. I acquired my personal training certification in 2021. I come with a little over 2.5 years of personal training small group and 1 on 1 sessions. Over that time, I have trained a wide variety of skill levels and individuals with physical limitations. At my previous gym, if anyone ever had a lingering injury or limitation, they were sent to me for all my experience and skill set to think outside the box to help everyone as much as possible. Before those years, I spent numerous hours watching fitness related content to learn how to improve in the gym. I was then able to implement multiple strategies and techniques into my own training. After all those years, I have a better understanding of getting the most out of a training session. In the winter of 2024, I received my biomechanics certification through pinnacle perform to apply to my clients and help unlock areas of mobility and layers of compensation that may be inducing pain. I always enjoy seeing people get out of pain or moving in ways they never thought they could ever before.
