I’m pretty out of shape - will I be ready to jump right into things?

Don’t let the intensity scare you! All of our workouts include scaling options, and our small class format allows us to keep a close eye on you to make sure you’re moving safely. Your coach will be alongside you throughout the workout to check in, and help make modifications when necessary. We’ll meet you wherever you’re at, and show you how to scale things up as you get stronger!

If you’re brand new to training, you’re working around an injury, or your just plain nervous about getting started, you can always take us up on a complementary consultation. Visit our contact page to schedule yours!

Is this CrossFit…? What type of equipment do you use?

Nope, this is not a CrossFit gym. Our workouts are intense and may utilize many of the same programming routines as a CrossFit gym (such as EMOMs, AMRAPs, etc.) but leave out the complexity of olympic lifts and gymnastics. We utilize dumbbells, TRX suspension trainers, medicine balls, plyo boxes, Airbikes, ropes, Ski ERGs, rowers, and body weight movements to mix up the workout and keep your body guessing!

Doesn't weightlifting make you bulky?

Here's the truth: the myth that lifting weights make you "bulky" has been long debunked. The main things you’ll build here are the strength, stamina, and confidence you’ll need to crush your day outside of the gym. Our workouts help increase muscle tone, boost your metabolism, and make you feel like a champ.

Can I try things out before I commit?

Definitely! Your first session is on us. Simply contact us to get started!

How many sessions per week do I need to get results?

We recommend three sessions per week, although many SOTA members make significant progress towards their goals with as few as two visits per week. Your goals and timeline will help us determine the best course of action that’s specific to you! Just reach out and we’ll be happy to assist.

Do you have showers?

We do not have showers at our facility. However, our process allows you to get in and out quickly so that you have plenty of time to get home after your workout.

Can I bring my kids with me?

We do not offer childcare services, nor are we responsible for your child's safety while they are in our studio. But we understand things come up and welcome well-behaved children. For their safety, we need them to hang out in the front area away from the equipment and weights.

Do you have parking?

Yes! We have a shared parking lot with plenty of spaces.

Are large group sessions ever canceled?

While we reserve the right to cancel Large Group sessions with less than 3 people, or due to weather, we always offer a way to get you moving. If a session is ever canceled, you will receive an email and/or text notification.

Do you offer discounts for couples/partners?

Yes we do! We offer a special partner membership rate when signing up together. Contact us at the studio or by email to learn about our current partner membership deals. 

Do you have a referral program?

Absolutely! Bring a friend, co-worker, or family member with you and if they sign up you'll get two high-fives and a $100 account credit towards your next month of membership!

can i use my hsa/fsa funds?

Yes! We are proud to partner with TrueMed to help save you an average of 30% on your membership!

What is your cancellation policy?

When you sign up, we expect you to show up. It's something we've found to be truly effective in holding our clients accountable and skipping the snooze button.

1:1 Personal Training and Small Group Training sessions: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy.

  • You can cancel and reschedule your session right in the SOTA app as long as it’s outside the 24-hour cancellation window.

  • If it’s within the 24-hour window, you will not be able to cancel in the app. Please send us a text at 952-900-7224 and one of our team will get back to you as soon as they can.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows are deducted from your package.  

Large Group Training (LGT): We have an 8-hour cancellation policy:

  • An early cancellation is any cancellation (via the SOTA app or by texting us) that occurs more than 8 hours prior to the start of the session. You will not be charged for an early cancellation.

  • A late cancel is any cancellation that occurs less than 8 hours prior to the start of the session. If a late cancel occurs, unlimited memberships will be charged a $10 late cancel fee; those with a 9X membership, 13X membership, or session package will lose one session be charged a $10 late cancel fee.

  • A no-show occurs if you do not cancel AND do not show up for your scheduled session. If a no-show occurs, unlimited memberships will be charged $20. Those with a 9X membership, 13X membership, or session package will lose one session and be charged a $20 no-show fee.

Sick Policy: We know getting sick happens— and allow one late cancel per month due to illness (or more if provided a doctor’s note). Send us a text as soon as you can at 952-900-7224.
